The Opportunity
As a Tier I Portal Recruiter, you’ll work within your chosen region, leveraging your expertise and network to identify, evaluate, and recruit promising student-athletes into the Portal.
You’ll have the freedom and flexibility to decide your own schedule and method to recruit where, how and when you want:
- Scout in the areas you know best. Use your experience to recognize talent where others might overlook it.
- Run your own recruiting timeline. Build relationships and identify players on your schedule.
- Shape future athletes. Provide the insight, confidence, and clarity that only experienced players and coaches can offer by recruiting really talented student-athletes into the Portal.
- Earn meaningful income. Recruiters are compensated for every athlete accepted into the Portal — bringing financial reward to your experience and effort.

Why be a scout/recruiter for Tier I Portal
Purpose:
- Give back to the sport you love by helping families navigate a confusing recruiting landscape — as an independent recruiting partner within our network.
Credibility:
- Join a professional community of NCAA athletes, coaches, and advisors who collaborate as independent consultants shaping the next generation.
Flexibility:
- Work where, when, and how you choose — you set your own schedule and approach. We provide general guidance and resources, but you control your methods and recruiting strategy.
Reward:
- Earn commission-based compensation for each athlete accepted.
- You are valuable and your experience is valuable. For example, if you recruited between 1-10 athletes per month you could earn between $12,000 and a strong six-figure income per year with your own part time and flexible schedule. There is no cap and you are rewarded for bringing the best to the Portal.

Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking passionate coaches, current NCAA athletes, and former college players in all four of our verticals:
- Boys Hockey – recruiting grades rising 8th through age-out Junior hockey years
- Girls Hockey – recruiting grades rising 8th through Post Grad or Gap year(s)
- Boys Lacrosse – recruiting grades rising 8th though Post Grad
- Girls Lacrosse – recruiting grades rising 8th through Post grad

How the Portal Works
Tier I Portal is built on relationships — not sign-ups.
Every athlete in the Portal is personally recruited by one of our scouts or advisors.
There’s no open application.
Entry into the Portal begins with recognition — and recognition begins with you.
You’ll be identifying athletic ability and the character to succeed academically and personally. You’ll help provide the foundation and the platform that families need to plan for future success.
